WHAT TO EXPECT
AAA has hosted this event for over a decade. Many people return year after year for the fun on the water in such a beautiful location.
This event is perfect if you enjoy paddling, swimming, having fun, and relaxing around the campfire. The canoes are open Canadian-style canoes, with usually three persons per canoe.

IMPORTANT: This trip is designed for the novice paddler on a safe and calm river. However, capsizes are possible, so remember that you and your property are at risk while on the water.
ITINERARY
Friday
The trip starts at Ross Rowing Clubs Campsite at 16:00.
BBQ around the campfire
Saturday
AAA breakfast & make our packed lunches
Drive to Symonds Yat, where we will be supplied with the kit & receive a safety briefing.
Canoe from Hoarwithy to Ross stopping for picnics, etc
The local pubs in Ross play host to dinner. Then enjoy the evening around the campfire
Sunday
Our day starts with refreshments and making our packed lunches
Depart for a cooked breakfast
Continue our paddle downstream
On arrival at Symonds Yat & return to the campsite to dismantle our tents & group kit.
Finish around 15:00
KIT LIST
All you need is a sleeping pad and a sleeping bag.
You will receive a full recommend kit list before the trip to ensure you can properly prepare.
ACCOMMODATION
The campsite we use has basic showers and toilets.
We can provide tents if you require them. These are usually two—or three-person tents that can potentially be shared with another person of the same gender.
Should you require a tent for sole use, you are welcome to bring your tent or guarantee sole use with a small surcharge.
FOOD
Meals are provided as per the inclusions below.

Sundays riverside pub breakfast
TRANSPORT
Driving is the best option for reaching the campsite. It's also reachable by National Express; however, you will need to organise a lift to the starting point.
