NEW🪻Dockey Wood Bluebells: Ashridge Spring Wander

DESCRIPTION
Join us for a spring walk through the beautiful Ashridge Estate as the famous bluebells of Dockey Wood come into bloom. Each year the woodland floor is transformed into a stunning carpet of vibrant blue, creating one of the most spectacular seasonal displays in the Chilterns. Bluebells are typically at their best from late April into early May, making this one of the highlights of the walking calendar.
Starting from Tring Station, we'll head through the picturesque village of Aldbury before climbing to the Bridgewater Monument for sweeping views across the surrounding countryside. Our route then takes us through Dockey Wood and the wider Ashridge Estate, where we'll have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the famous bluebell displays and spring woodland scenery.
After a break near the Ashridge Visitor Centre, we'll continue through the tranquil Golden Valley before descending towards historic Berkhamsted. The walk finishes with a visit to Berkhamsted Castle and a short stroll to Berkhamsted Station for trains home.
