DESCRIPTION
Join us for a spring walk from Richmond to Wimbledon, taking in some of London's finest parkland, woodland and seasonal colour. Our route passes through historic Richmond, across the beautiful Petersham Meadows and into Richmond Park, where we'll visit the famous Isabella Plantation at the height of bluebell and azalea season.
From Richmond Gate we'll cross the park via King Henry's Mound and Pen Ponds, enjoying wide views, ancient trees and, with luck, plenty of deer along the way. We'll then explore the Isabella Plantation, renowned for its spring displays, before continuing south through the Roehampton area and onto Wimbledon Common.
The final section takes us through the woodland and open heath of Wimbledon Common before a stroll through Wimbledon Village and a finish at Wimbledon Station.
